Monaco predicted XI v Saint-Étienne: Lamine Camara to make debut, Breel Embolo to partner Folarin Balogun up front

AS Monaco kick off their Ligue 1 campaign when they host AS Saint-Étienne at the Stade Louis II on Saturday evening. Lamine Camara is expected to make his competitive debut for Les Monégasques, however, other new signing George Ilenikhena may have to settle for a place on the bench.

Adi Hütter must contend with injuries and suspensions as his side kick off their season. Wilfried Singo is suspended, whilst No.1 goalkeeper Radoslaw Majecki, Krépin Diatta, and Aleksandr Golovin are injured. Whilst Caio Henrique has recovered from a blow suffered in pre-season, he is not expected to start. Ismail Jakobs will deputise.

Up front, Folarin Balogun is expected to start alongside Breel Embolo, with Hütter set to deploy his side in a 4-4-2 as he muddles together a team, impacted by absences.

Monaco likely lineup v Saint-Étienne

Philipp Köhn; Ismail Jakobs, Mohammed Salisu, Thilo Kehrer, Vanderson; Eliesse Ben Seghir, Denis Zakaria, Lamine Camara, Takumi Minamino; Folarin Balogun, Breel Embolo.
