Marseille not worried by Mason Greenwood’s sudden drop in goalscoring form

According to L’Équipe, Olympique de Marseille are not worried by Mason Greenwood’s (23) sudden drop in goalscoring form in recent matches.

At the start of the season, the English forward took to life in Ligue 1 like a duck to water after completing his controversial move from Manchester United. The 23-year-old scored five goals in his opening three matches in the French top flight and gained the plaudits of pundits and media alike. RMC‘s Daniel Riolo claimed Greenwood was ‘too good’ for the League of Talents.

However, after starting the season in emphatic form, the former England U21 international has gone on a barren spell in front of goal. Greenwood has failed to score or assist in his last four matches in Ligue 1. Despite his lack of scoring form, OM are not worried about his form and still counting on the United academy graduate to have a major impact across the season, L’Équipe understands.
