In Paris Saint-Germain’s opening Ligue 1 game of the season against Le Havre, Gonçalo Ramos (23) was forced off early through injury and replaced by substitute and scorer of their fourth goal Randal Kolo Muani (25). The Portuguese forward was brought down and suffered an injury after a crunching challenge from defender Étienne Youte Kinkoue.
Ramos was rather influential in the early stages of the game for the Ligue 1 champions. Inside three minutes, the former Benfica forward played a brilliant pass into the path of Lee Kong-in who opened the scoring during PSG’s 4-1 victory. However, this influence would end prematurely due to injury.
Unable to walk off the pitch without the aid of the physios, Ramos could be seen sat in the stands wearing a protective boot after receiving treatment. Speaking to the media after the match, Luis Enrique was asked about the extent of the injury. The Les Parisiens boss said, “I’m not a doctor but I think it looks like a serious injury. I don’t know how many weeks he will be out.”
