Hoffenheim approach Le Havre for West Ham and Nottingham target Étienne Youté Kinkoué

According to a report from L’Équipe, Hoffenheim have approached Le Havre AC with a €7 million offer for Étienne Youté Kinkoué (22).

The French centre-back has been one of the players that Le Havre have been willing to let leave this summer as they hope to secure one of the biggest sales in the club’s history (and their biggest since selling Tino Kadewere (28) to Olympique Lyonnais in 2020).

Le Havre are reportedly willing to accept Hoffenheim’s bid but Kinkoué is far less keen on the option. At the moment, the defender is expected to reject the chance to join Hoffenheim, and will likely review his options.

There had been interest from the Premier League with Nottingham Forest and West Ham United said to be looking at the former Inter Milan academy product

L’Équipe writes that Le Havre will look to rest Kinkoué so as to avoid an injury derailing a move this summer with the club committed to selling the defender in the immediate future.
