Raheem Sterling (29) is set to undergo the final steps in order to complete his move from Chelsea to Arsenal, according to a report from Sports Zone.
Sterling does not feature in Enzo Maresca’s plans at Chelsea, as has been made abundantly clear through the new Chelsea manager’s public statements. The London club have therefore been looking to offload the England international in recent days. Those efforts now look to have reaped their reward.
As reported by Sports Zone, he is on the verge of joining Arsenal. The Englishman will reduce his salary in order to join Mikel Arteta’s side and he is now set to undergo a medical imminently. Chelsea and Arsenal are, however, yet to reach an agreement wtih the two clubs still locked in talks.
Those talks are, however, expected to be successful and Sterling’s departure will allow Chelsea to complete the signing of Jadon Sancho from Manchester United.
