According to a report by L’Équipe, Olympique Lyonnais could be set to cash in on Ernest Nuamah (20) months after signing him on a permanent deal from RWD Molenbeek.
Nuamah had spent half of last season on loan at Lyon before the club made his move permanent in July for a fee thought to be in the region of €28.5 million. It was a transfer that could only be made possible this summer after Les Gones had been shackled by the DNCG’s restrictions. Despite this, Nuamah could soon be sold with the club open to offers of €30 million.
Multiple clubs in the market for Ernest Nuamah
L’Équipe writes that Everton FC and Nottingham Forest have both made enquiries about the forward. Two Saudi Arabian clubs are also thought to be looking at the player and have already made contact with his representatives, however, it’s thought that he has ruled out a move to the Gulf State.
