Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Gabriel Moscardo (18) has joined Ligue 1 rivals Stade de Reims on a season-long loan, both clubs have announced. The Ligue 1 champions initially planned on keeping the Brazil U23 international in Luis Enrique’s senior squad with PSG but Les Parisiens are already packed with midfield options with the likes of Warren Zaïre-Emery, Vitinha, Fabian Ruiz, Lee Kang-in and Joao Neves, although Manuel Ugarte and Carlos Soler are expected to leave amidst interest from Premier League sides.
Moscardo signed for PSG in January and stayed with Corinthians on loan until the summer transfer window. The Brazilian remains tied to Les Parisiens with a contract set to expire in 2028. He will now acclimatize to Ligue 1 football under the tutelage of Reims head coach Luka Elsner. The Champagne side will play Marseille away this Sunday.
