According to L’Équipe, Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Gabriel Moscardo (18) is set to join Stade de Reims on a season-long loan.
Initially, Les Parisiens were planning on keeping the young Brazillian within their ranks this season to afford him opportunities where possible. However, with the window almost coming to a close, the decision has been made to send Moscardo out on loan for his development and to allow him to acclimatise to Ligue 1 football. An agreement is now very close to being reached for a loan move with Reims and PSG for the former Corinthians midfielder.
The Ligue 1 champions agreed a deal to sign the 18-year-old in January but the midfielder stayed in Brazil on loan until the summer transfer window. Due to injury, the Brazillian youth international struggled for gametime while on loan in his homeland. Moscardo has signed a 4-year contract lasting until 2028 at the Parc des Princes and cost PSG a fee in the region of €25m.
