Lyon will be hoping to secure their second win of the season as they face the tough task of hosting an in-form Olympique de Marseille team on Sunday evening in Ligue 1’s primetime slot. Les Gones were frustrated last time out as they drew 0-0 with Lens.
L’Équipe reports that Pierre Sage is set to make two changes from his team that were held to a goalless draw by Les Sang et Or. In defence, OL are set to remain unchanged with a back three opted for once again by the former Red Star coach. Lyon are set to make one change in midfield, with Jordan Veretout to be handed his full debut in favour of Maxence Caqueret.
In attack, Gift Orban is set to drop to the bench with Georgian international attacker Georges Mikautadze reinstated into the starting lineup. Club captain Alexandre Lacazette will retain his spot as Sage opts for two players in the forward line.
Lyon likely XI vs Marseille:
Lucas Perri – Clinton Mata, Duje Ćaleta-Car, Moussa Niakhaté – Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Corentin Tolisso, Nemanja Matić, Jordan Veretout, Abner – Geogres Mikautadze, Alexandre Lacazette.
