Ernest Nuamah’s move to Fulham on verge of collapse

After having hijacked Everton’s move, Ernest Nuamah’s (20) move to Fulham is now on the verge of collapsing, according to a report from Fabrizio Romano

Lyon, whilst still trying to secure incomings before the closure of the transfer window on Friday evening, are focused on outgoings. At the start of the summer, OL aimed at raising €100m in player sales. With just hours remaining in the window, they have not got close to that figure. Les Gones had reportedly set a €30m price tag for Nuamah.

It had been expected that the Ghanaian winger would join Everton, a club that OL owner John Textor is in talks to purchase. Nuamah had even agreed terms with the Toffees, only for Fulham to lodge a last-minute attempt to hijack the deal. Romano reports that a deal between Fulham and Lyon had now been agreed.

However, Romano now adds that the deal taking Nuamah to Fulham is on the verge of being called off after “new issues” arose. The deal, currently, is off.
