OGC Nice predicted XI v Toulouse: Tanguy Ndombele set to start

Tanguy Ndombele is set to start as OGC Nice prepare to face Carles Martínez Novell’s Toulouse FC at the Allianz Riviera on Sunday afternoon.

Franck Haise is short of options amid an injury crisis at Nice. Terem Moffi suffered an ACL injury in pre-season and will miss much of the Ligue 1 campaign. Jérémie Boga also suffered an injury in pre-season but is nearing a return – not in time to face Toulouse, however. Sofiane Diop is a long-term absentee, and he is now joined on the sidelines by Gaëtan Laborde, who fractured his metatarsal in training on Friday. He could be out for between two and three months.

As a result, Haise’s front line more or less picks itself. Evann Guessand is a guaranteed starter, as is Mohamed-Ali Cho. There is a question mark surrounding the left-win spot with Billal Brahimi in competition with Badredine Bouanani.

Hicham Boudaoui and Ndombele are set to start in midfield with Tom Louchet and Morgan Sanson also absent through injury. Youssouf Ndayishimiye is nearing a return, however, it is thought that he will only be fit enough for a place on the bench. Moïse Bombito could make his debut at centre-back.

Nice likely lineup v Toulouse

Marcin Bulka; Dante, Pablo Rosario, Moïse Bombito; Melvin Bard, Tanguy Ndombele, Hicham Boudaoui, Jonathan Clauss; Billal Brahimi, Evann Guessand, Mohamed-Ali Cho.
