According to L’Équipe, Bologna are close to agreeing a deal to sign Thijs Dallinga (23) from Toulouse. The Serie A club are set to complete a deal for the Dutch striker following their successful qualification for the Champions League last season.
The Bolognese club are set to reinforce their attacking options following the departure of Joshua Zirkzee to Manchester United. Dallinga is set to swap the South of France for Italy in a move worth €15m plus bonuses, LÉquipe understands. The 23-year-old is set to return a large profit for Les Violets after he was signed for an initial fee of €2.5m from Excelsior.
Dallinga holds an impressive record in Ligue 1 after two seasons with Toulouse. The Toulouse striker has scored 29 goals in 69 appearances in the French top flight. During his period in France, he has also lifted the Coupe de France and experienced his first taste of European football in last season’s edition of the Europa League.
