OGC Nice’s Khéphren Thuram agrees to Juventus move

According to a report from Sports ZoneOGC Nice midfielder Khéphren Thuram (23) has given the green light for a move to Serie A giants Juventus.

With just one year remaining on his deal and with no extension in sight, Thuram is highly likely to leave Nice this summer. The previous summer, he made the choice to remain with Le Gym amid interest from clubs across Europe, notably Liverpool. Whilst Nice were happy to retain a key player for an extra year, they too are now willing to cash in.

After a difficult season, there are fewer suitors for Thuram, however, there has been interest from Italy, with Juventus and Inter Milan both making enquiries. Sports Zone now understands that Thuram has now spoken with new Juventus manager Thiago Motta and both have agreed to the move. It is now up to the Serie A side to find an agreement with Les Aiglons. Negotiations are set to begin imminently.
