Michel Der Zakarian ‘blows up’ the Montpellier dressing room amid crisis

In an attempt to spark some kind of revolt in the wake of three consecutive defeats in Ligue 1, which leave Montpellier HSC rock bottom of the table, manager Michel Der Zakarian has “blown up” the dressing room, with multiple key players set to miss out against AJ Auxerre today, according to Mohamed Toubache-Ter

As reported by Toubache-Ter and later confirmed by the club, Jordan Ferri has been left out of Montpellier’s squad to face Auxerre on Sunday. Der Zakarian is expected to spring other surprises too with Benjamin Lecomte expected to be dropped in favour of Dimitry Bertaud.

Those decisions come after Der Zakarian decided to “blow up” the MHSC dressing room in order to provide an “electroshock”. Toubache-Ter added that the situation in the dressing room is breaking down amid Der Zakarian’s desperate attempts to turn around the situation.

There could also be changes up front, according to Toubahce-Ter. The big changes come amid reports that Der Zakarian’s position as manager is already threatened, with a list of potential replacements being drawn up.
