Bournemouth consider bidding for Lorient’s Yvon Mvogo

Relegated to Ligue 2 with FC Lorient, Yvon Mvogo (30) is set to leave the Brittany side this summer and could join fellow Black Knight Football Club’s ownership group side Bournemouth AFC, according to L’Equipe

Despite a solid season with Lorient, Mvogo couldn’t avoid his club going back to Ligue 2. The Swiss international will be allowed to leave for pastures new this summer, as confirmed by his president, Loic Féry. Multiple clubs have added the Switzerland goalkeeper to their shortlist, such as OGC Nice and Celtic Glasgow. After having declined the Scottish side’s approach, Mvogo could be tempted by a first experience in the Premier League.

Owned by Black Knight Football Club, which also retain 40% of Lorient, Bournemouth have set their sights on the Switzerland international, reports L’Equipe. With Ionut Radu’s loan from Inter Milan having expired, the Cherries are looking for a new goalkeeper and could bring Mvogo to add qualitative depth to their squad.
