Official | England goalkeeper Mary Earps joins PSG

England international goalkeeper Mary Earps (31) has officially joined French top-tier outfit PSG, the club has announced. The 31-year-old has signed a two-year deal after leaving Manchester United FC on the back of winning the Women’s FA Cup for the Mark Skinner-led team. Mary Earps also won on the biggest stage with England, claiming the 2022 European Championship. SportsZone reported that PSG have made Mary Earps the highest-paid goalkeeper in the women’s game.

Mary Earps’ performances between the sticks earned her worldwide praise as well as prestigious individual awards. The Nottingham-born keeper was voted Goalkeeper of the Year at the FIFA The Best ceremony in the last two years and Goalkeeper of the Year at the PFA Awards in 2023. Mary Earps also earned the title of BBC Sports Personality of the Year in that same year. The signing of England’s No. 1 keeper is a real statement of intent for PSG, which are set to appoint Fabrice Abriel as their head coach.
