Paul Pogba rejects offer from Russian club Broke Boys FC

Last week, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) significantly reduced Paul Pogba’s (31) ban from football from four years to just 18 months. That will allow the former France international to return to training in January and begin competing once against from March.

However, it is thought that the former Manchester United midfielder will not continue his career at current club Juventus. Wanting a fresh start, Pogba is currently negotiating a mutual contract termination with the Serie A giants with the view to joining a new club.

The MLS has been touted as a potential destination, whilst Olympique de Marseille have also been linked. As per La Provence, there have been discussions – but no negotiations – between Pogba and OM. As things stand, there is no concrete interest.

However, prior to the reduction of his ban, Pogba was the subject of concrete interest from a club in Russia, Broke Boys FC, according to France FootballThe offer was received a few weeks ago, however, it was kindly declined by the Frenchman. He would have been able to compete for the club as they participate in the Media Football League, created in 2022. It is made up of celebrities and influencers and is not affiliated with FIFA, which would have allowed him to compete in Russia during his ban. With a return to the pitch nearing, Pogba’s options will now be more plentiful.
