Paris Saint-Germain have announced the signing of Olympique Lyonnais winger Bradley Barcola (20) on a five-year deal, both clubs have announced.
The Ligue 1 rivals, who will face each other at the Groupama Stadium on Sunday, have reportedly reached an agreement over a €50m transfer package, including €5m in performance-related add-ons. Barcola will wear the #29 jersey with Les Parisiens, Kylian Mbappé’s shirt number before switching to the #7 in 2018. Barcola took Ligue 1 by storm in logging seven goals and ten assists for Les Gones in the second half of the Ligue 1 campaign. His form earned him a call-up by France U21 manager Sylvain Ripoll to take part in the European Championships, where the Lyon youth product registered a further two goals and as many assists.

A versatile striker, able to play as a centre-forward or as a right-sided winger, Barcola will bolster the ranks of Luis Enrique’s Les Parisiens. With Kylian Mbappé, Gonçalo Ramos, Marco Asensio, Ousmane Dembélé and now Barcola, the Spaniard does not lack attacking options.
In their press release of their own, Lyon adds that Barcola had expressed the wish, for several weeks and through his representatives, to join PSG. The France U21 international underwent his medical with his new club today.
