RC Strasbourg Alsace forward Moïse Sahi Dion (22) is set to be absent for around a month after he underwent surgery on an injury suffered in pre-season, according to a report from L’Équipe.
Sahi Dion was injured in a pre-season game against Bundesliga side Borussia Mönchengladbach on 10th August and is yet to feature since. The 22-year-old has remained sidelined with a knee injury, missing the opening-day draw against Montpellier HSC, the win over Stade Rennais, and the loss to Olympique Lyonnais.
As per L’Équipe, the decision has now been taken to operate on the knee injury. As a result, he is set to be absent for around one month, ruling him out of games against SCO Angers, Lille OSC and Olympique de Marseille. Last season, the Ivory Coast youth international played an important role for Les Alsaciens, playing 20 times in all competitions, scoring five goals and registering one assist.
