As per Foot Mercato and RMC Sport, Olympique de Marseille have reached an agreement with Norwich City regarding the signing of Jonathan Rowe (21).
Marseille have already strengthened their attack through the signings of Mason Greenwood and Elye Wahi this summer, however, following the departures of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Iliman Ndiaye and Ismaila Sarr, OM have been intent of giving Roberto De Zerbi another option up front.
Rowe emerged as a priority target. Talks with Norwich City have been ongoing throughout the month of August, and an agreement has now been found. Marseille will pay the EFL Championship side €3m for the loan deal, which will also include an obligatory purchase clause worth over €12m.
The English winger has always been keen on a move to the Vélodrome this summer and so he has already given the greenlight to the move. His transfer to Les Phocéens now looks imminent, pending the medical.
