Le Havre AC have confirmed that Ilyes Housni (19) has arrived on loan from Paris Saint-Germain. Le Havre will have the option to buy the highly promising forward for an undisclosed fee.
Housni first joined PSG from AS Jeunesse Aubervilliers in 2019 where he went on to play for the u17s and u19s. It was in the u19s that Housni made a breakthrough and became a regular starter for Les Parisiens, helping the team qualify for the Round of 16 in the UEFA Youth League.
His performances earned him a loan to Qatari club Al Sadd for the 2023/24 season. However, Housni struggled to make an impact in a new country. The forward only made 6 appearances during his time in Qatar, but he still managed to record a goal.
Le Havre will be hoping that Housni will settle into their young squad and that he will be provided more game time at a club invested in development.
