It has been a busy transfer deadline day at Stade Brestois. Having already completed the signing of Ibrahim Salah, who has arrived on loan from Stade Rennais, Les Pirates targeted three more signings ahead of the closure of the window, as per a report from L’Équipe.
Notably, Brest were trying to secure the return of Kamory Doumbia (20), who spent last season on loan at the club from Stade de Reims. Those efforts ended in a success. The versatile attacker has signed a five-year deal with the Breton club in what is a €4m deal, without bonuses, according to a report from Le Parisien.
Massadio Haïdara has also joined the club on a free transfer after being freed from his contract at RC Lens. The former Newcastle United defender has signed a one-year deal with Les Ty-Zéfs. Brest are now looking to also conclude a deal for Olympique Lyonnais’ Mama Baldé.
